Mom,

thanks for all the words of gratitude, ill take them with me while im proselyting. they give courage to my tired soul.

 

 

  ill be sure to baptize him and throw him on the good an faithful preach my gospel haha. take good care of him, hes got potential to be an ispirational story of how the Atonement changes lives or he could just be another one that could have been.

   i cant believe im 21 but 21 is way easier then 20, i think ill be fine till i get to 30. i think its the ones with the 0 on the end that hit the hardest haha.

     jared is working the davis police department or is he gonna start. whyd he change, i thought he hated being a cop?

   when does elder cleveland return?!

    this week was fantastic. let me begin. we baptized big john, who is that young lady we baptized earlier this months little brother, such a nice boy! now we just have to baptize the mom. then the zone baptized 6 this week which puts us at 29 baptisms in the month, breaking the second place record of 28 by a zone in our mission and we still have one more week. we will be the 2nd only zone to hit 30 baptisms in a month, mom all my dreams are coming true!

   i recieved my two packages and they were full of only candy, and i ate a couple and my teeth started hurting so i gave everything to everyone else. i think i have cavities :( im scared. i started flossing my teeth and using mouth wash everyday, ive never done that in my life. thats how scared i am.

 

   bruno got his patriarchal blessing, i also had him write his name in my preach my gospel because no convert as good as him should not be in my preach. i love this little dude!

  today pres. genaro took us all to his apartment complex and let us play the coveted sport of soccer in the little court they have here, the first time in history that pres. has let anyone play soccer, pres. tavares and genaro.

 

then he took us out to a super expensive restaruant that does all you can eat barbeque. it was super awesome . i didnt score any goals, even pres. genaro scored a goal and he is not in good shape haha. i loved every second of it though. its the p-day we won with pres for winning the competition of zones and basically being his favorites :D   and that was my week. weve also been working out like crazy and i stepped on the scale and i gained 4 pounds, o yaaaaa! and that was my week love ya mommy!

  cant believe 21 years already, this ones comin a little lighter then 20 though haha. ya they do primary program in brazil, same thing, cute kids waving to everyone and yelling in the mics.

  just got done having p-day with pres. cause we won the competition in the mission, it was awesome, he let us play soccer, too bad it rained on us and we only played for a little while.

 i buzzed my head so i dont have to cut it anymore until i get home now i think. 

 

 love ya dad, dont have much today cause our p-day is basically done because of being with pres. we still have to do our shopping. love you a ton keep strong, ill send all the pics to mom because of time.

16 people baptized this week!

 

 

Mom,

ya this week was o bisho mom! the zone baptized 16 people with 7 sets of companions, more baptisms then elders this week! that ties the record for baptisms in one week in our mission, we almost broke it also! and we won the zone competition that our mission was having, basically were the top dogz right now! our zone is called the dirty dogz though haha

   sometimes even i struggle to see how i seem to have success in the mission cause everything that everyone thinks a missionary is our should be, im not and i encourage my zone to be that way also. i guess it works cause the 2nd place record for baptisms in a zone in one month in our mission is 27 and we have 23 right now with 2 more weeks to go so we will break that record. the first place record is still 47 from when we were in apucarana, dont know if ive got the faith to ever hit that again ha ha. Im not the most reverent or spiritual elder in the world but somehow the Lord has found out how to use me. i dont know why the Lord blesses me so much, He must love me! :D  elder luchmun is a great comp. also, very supportive and organized. were having a lot of success here and looks like the mission will break our old record for baptisms this month. 

 

        transfers arent for another two weeks, i think on the 30th of setember. also im glad that elder gardner is going to stay on his mission for another transfer, more baptisms. also im the lone wolf and i get set apart alone. howl.

       ever since we hit the less then ten weeks mark weve been singing that song the final countdown around the house. oddly enough elder zioli is more american then most americans and he also knows this song.

      when elder petersen says that he wants the next assistant to be elder B hes talking about this other miss in our mish named elder bailey. the ground quakes from beneath his feet. hes some elder from rocklin that baptizes anything, animals, inanimate objects, people, etc.. i hope he gets called also cause then he will live with us. 

     bruno already has a preach my gospel, just the scriptures and then fill the rest up with candy and thats it, we just wanna give him a present before elder zioli goes home which is in two weeks, so send it fast please! its pretty essential that you send it this week asap. no i didnt get the packages yet, but theyll probably come this week.

Dad,

i got the travel itinerary today also, man that came fast huh haha. the zone baptized 16 people this week, that ties the record for most baptisms by a zone in one week, were all very excited about that, we bought 3 pizzas to celebrate.  when does ali leave and where is bailey going on his mission? im feeling good, ive got a lot of health right now so i feel really good about that. my knee is fine and im not having almost any sinus problems. i had a temple recommend interview cause mine expired, hes a really intense guy when he wants to be, but most of the time he jokes around alot but in the interview he got pretty intense and gave me some words of wisdom ill take with me everywhere i go. hes a very inspired man, i just wish i could work closer and longer with him but 2 more months will have to do. love ya dad! - Elder Bennett

include a bunch of mormon goodies in there for him, he doesnt speak english also, i was thinking maybe we could get some portuguese scriptures for him, the 4 piece all put together set for him with Elder Coimbra engraved on the front. hes a recent convert of only 7 months and hes better then any member you know. hes going on a mission in 5 months, he leaves to go teach with us and he makes contacts to people on the street as if he already were an elder and people deny him and he just keeps on going and talking to people, hes basically the best person on the planet! i know that the scriptures would be really special to him. portuguese 4 piece scriptures with elder Coimbra engraved on the front. and then just fill the box full of stuff, he likes anything. hes also 18 years old.

        my birthday party im gonna break so many laws! Haha NOT!

     this week was so crazy! i just showed up in cambe this morning. on sunday some elders called us and told they had another baptisms to get so we got the bus to londrina and went all out on sunday to get this little girl baptized. we got her in the car and on our way to the chapel the car ran out of gas! so were calling everyone to come and help but nobodys answering the phone, we started knocking doors and asking people for gasoline, what do you know, the first door we knock is some shirtless saint that takes the member to the nearest gas station to get gasoline, within 15 minutes were back on the road! we get there and i did the baptismal interview and everythings ready to go and because of opposition that you would never imagine in your whole life, , we werent allowed to baptize her that night but we marked for tomorrow. we werent able to make it home, we had to sleep in londrina and we had brought nothing, i slept in my church clothes but i took off my belt and tie but strangely enough elder luchmun slept in his tie and belt with his shirt ttucked in, hahaha i dont know why!

 

   this week the zones got about 10 people to be baptized! were wreckin stuff! 

     i dont know if im gonna stay local and work and go to community college or if im gonna jump over to salt lake, eu estou nem aí com essas coisas!  love ya mom! o ya we play uno on p-days, its the worst thing ever.

Dad,

this week we worked so hard! it was such a crazy week! we sent elder luchmun to londrina to help out with the baptisms there and i was left alone here in the area with another misionary thats never been here. ive only been here for 2 weeks! i was so lost the whole time where i was going haha but i almost baptized this guy named marcos but he wound up going out of town but we have his baptism marked for friday for now. the week was such crazyness! ya elder dennas brother married a barlocker girl, looks like hell be in our life for the rest of our lives haha, that one girl stephanie was there, hes probably gonna marry her haha. love ya dad, too much happened this week to write about haha! our zone is destroying right now and this week only gets better!!! çpve ya a ton dad! - Elder Bennett

Miracles will happen this week!

hey mom, get a package ready for me please, buy goodies from the church and stuff, special things. im gonna give them to this guy named bruno here in our ward, hes a recent convert of 7 months and is the best person ever! im gonna give him a ton of stuff

Dad,

ya this area is a little hilly also but its doing a lot better for me, although its a very big area so we walk a lot. the ward is very supportive also, and they help for the most part, im liking it a lot here, one of my favorite areas. i didnt get moms email or maybe she forgot to press send on the computer, im not looking forward to the grape harvest though haha and im never doing the labor day flags ever again! hows dakota doing with the pre mission prep, hope hes reading the book of mormon a lot cause he needs the be prepared to bare some powerful testimonies in the face of wolves dressed in sheeps raiment!!
  we baptized this week dad, it was super awesome cause the guy that baptized her is her boyfriend, hes 18 and attended the church for 4 years and never got baptized. he got baptized last saturday and on this sunday he recieveed the priesthood and right after he baptized his girlfreind, now hes talking about serving a mission, o how baptism brings the best out of everyone! miracles will happen this week!
    this week the zone had an average of 45 lessons with members present per companionship, thats the best this missions ever seen, and this zone is known for not being an easy zone but the elders are excited so only good things can come. in only 7 companionships we took 36 people to church, i think this week will have baptisms!!
